Steady is a personal finance app that helps users manage their finances and budget their spending. As the lead product designer at Steady, I took the responsibility to build the app's user experience and make it useful for users.
Insights & results
Research phase
To create a user-friendly design for Steady, I conducted extensive user research to understand the needs and challenges of our target audience. We found that many people struggle to manage their finances effectively, often because they have difficulty keeping track of their spending and savings.

Design outcome
To address this issue, I focused on creating an app that would make it easy for users to track their spending and set budget goals. The app allows users to connect their bank accounts and credit cards, so that all of their transactions are automatically imported and categorized. This makes it easy for users to see where their money is going and track their progress towards their budget goals.
Key areas
Additionally, I improved the app's user interface and design, making it more visually appealing and easier to navigate. Added new features, such as the ability to set and track financial goals, to make the app more useful for users.

Overall, the design of the Steady app is focused on providing users with the tools they need to manage their money more effectively and reach their financial goals. The app's clean and modern design, combined with its powerful budgeting and tracking tools, make it a valuable resource for anyone looking to improve their financial health.
